In the liner notes for Hospice, the song “Bear” is also titled, “or Children become their parents become their children”. I think this cuts to the quick of so many hospice like situations in families. Can you tell me more about writing this song and that particular line?
Silberman: Well I think it was something I was thinking about with relationships in general.. when you get in a serious relationship you get to know yourself really well in terms of how another person is getting to know you. And the kinds of problems that arise.. especially if you’re spending a ton of time together… how you become aware of so many of your flaws and other people’s flaws and the difficulty of communication. And its funny I think when these dynamics arise in relationships when we are taking care of other people and we get to know their families and we see the similarities between them and their parents. And in some circumstances you can see exactly the person they are going to become and these things that they have inherited that have colored their personalities. Like they were raised to do this.. intentionally or not… I guess.. I think that was kind of what was running through my mind at that point. - #

from ALLKPOP.COM | Stories Girl group T-ara recently came back with the single 뽀삐뽀삐 Bo Beep Bo Beep. Coincidentally, this track title shares the same name with a toilet paper manufacturer in Korea, 뽀삐 (Bo Beep or Poppee). Through T-ara’s unintentional promotion of the company by promoting the song with their namesake, the toilet paper manufacturer wanted to show their gratitude by sending T-ara a truck load full of toilet paper. A representative from the group stated, “Out of all the gifts we’ve received, this is by far the most fun / interesting. We received so much toilet paper that we don’t need to buy toilet paper for 10 years.”

Sharon Van Etten - “I Wish I Knew”

Clear, echoey vocals as sung at the head of a church, but lyrics with the intimacy of a screened porch. The almost negligible guitar strumming in the background serves only to make sure we know we’re in a minor key, for its strummer seems not to care at all for the instrument—slopping her hand against the strings…. So moving.
